Acclaimed choral director Dale Warland and the Festival Chorale return for their fourth summer in Winona. In what has become a beloved and essential part of the Festival season each year, Warland and the Chorale will present a weekend of concerts at Winona's beautiful Chapel of St. Mary of the Angels, hosted by Minnesota Public Radio's Brian Newhouse. This season's concerts present a gorgeous array of choral masterworks ranging from Elgar and Mahler to Pärt and Argento.

Since his triumph as winner of the 1970 Chopin International Piano Competition, pianist Garrick Ohlsson has established himself worldwide as a musician of magisterial interpretive and technical prowess. Although he has long been regarded as one of the world's leading exponents of the music of Frédéric Chopin, Ohlsson commands an enormous repertoire, and his Festival recital will highlight not only the music of Chopin and Beethoven, but also Schubert and Griffes.
